Development Intern (Fall)

Now accepting resumes for the Fall Program (part-time, academic credit) starting around 9/9/13. DreamWorks Animation seeks an Intern for the Development department in Glendale, CA. Intern will help prepare research documents and presentation materials for movies that are currently in preproduction for high level executives. The Intern will gain exposure to the Development creative database and may be given opportunity to contribute to special projects. Intern will be exposed to the direct inner-workings of the animation development process from beginning to end. Intern will also have direct dealings with high level offices.
Qualifications

Must be a Junior or Senior BA/BS candidate currently enrolled in a four-year college or university. Knowledge of Word is must; knowledge of Excel is preferred. Must be able to do internet research. Must have strong writing, communication and presentation skills. Must have ability able to transcribe recordings of meetings. Must have experience with PhotoShop. Interest in animation is a plus. A cover letter is an essential part of the submission process for this internship to showcase writing style. Only submissions with a cover letter will be considered. We are not able to sponsor international students in Overhead or Production departments.
